Certificate IV in Training & Assessment

The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment "Train the Trainer" course is designed for people who are working as Workplace Trainers and Assessors and also those who plan to move into the training and assessing field. Our highly experienced Trainers and Assessors deliver the course with many years of training experience to share with the participants.
- The course is delivered via blended learning, which is a combination of in class and self paced study.
- The full certification can be taken either full time (10 full days) or part time (Two sessions per week over 12 weeks, 2 pm to 5 pm).
- Outside of class time, participants are required to complete several assessment tasks.
Recognition of Prior learning (RPL) is "the acknowledgement of the skills and knowledge" that you have gained through previous studies, work and life experiences.
- If RPL is granted, this will mean that you will not have to complete the study or assessments for a unit or units of competency.
- RPL gives you the opportunity to have your previous learning and working experiences validated against the assessment outcomes.

The course is open to all people over 18 years of age.
- Current workplace trainers and assessors
- Anyone interested in becoming a workplace trainer and/or assessor
Program Requirements
- This qualification requires good language, literacy and computing skills and access to a computer with internet access.
- A workplace or practice environment ( we can assist with a simulated training environment if necessary) is required as a context for undertaking the assessments.

Centrelink Support Payments
Individuals who enrol in this course may be eligible to receive Centrelink support payments, including; Austudy, Pensioner Education Supplement and Youth Allowance. As Centrelink payments are subject to individual circumstances, we recommend enquiring with Centrelink about whether you qualify for the support payments, while enrolled in our course.
